Lotus botanicals Vitamin C Skin Brightening MatteFLUID Sunscreen Review

Lotus Herbals recently launched their new brand Lotus Botanicals which aims to offer 100% cruelty-free and safe products that are made from plants and ethically grown ingredients. The best thing about Lotus Botanicals products is that they don’t have any preservatives or chemicals. I recently tried their Vitamin C Skin Brightening MatteFLUID Sunscreen and this is my honest review.

What brand promises?

The brand promises that this sunscreen provides dual power of SPF 50 and Vitamin C. SPF 50 is great to protect the skin from tanning and harmful UVA and UVB rays. On the other hand, vitamin C is known to prevent blemishes, reduce scars and boost skin radiance.

Apart from this Vitamin C sunscreen, they have also face serum, night crème, face scrub, face wash, day crème and moisturizer as a part of their Vitamin C Skin Brightening range.

My skin type is oily to dry. I am writing this review after using this Lotus Botanicals sunscreen for 15 days.

The main ingredients of this sunscreen are Vitamin C & Grapefruit and both of these are amazing for skin.

The texture of this sunscreen is matte + fluid which feels very light and non-sticky. The colour is a bit off-white (lighter version of foundation or cc creams) which blends on the skin so nicely, covering the open pores and hiding the blemishes.

It stays all day and doesn’t make one feel sticky even after hours. I did not get any tanning after using this, though I stepped out in the sun every single day.

What I really liked about this sunscreen is that it makes the face glow and makes it more radiant.

Though it is advised to apply the sunscreen after putting the moisturizer but you can apply it directly also. I use it more like a day crème because it not only protects my face from dirt, pollution and harmful rays but also makes me look radiant and glowing without any makeup.

The cost of this Vitamin C Sunscreen is Rs.645 for 75g.
