Recently times have been very challenging for one and all of us. The pandemic has caused each and every one of us to stay locked at our homes. We have all the means to go out and chill but still can’t. The air is pure but we can’t go out and breathe. Streets are empty but we can’t take a stroll. All this is happening but none of us is really complaining!
We Indians are mature enough to understand that this is a world wide crisis and we all need to do our bit. We understand the importance of social distancing, not just because prime minister Modi has said but because we have seen what developed countries like Italy have undergone. We Indians have found our way of coping with this pandemic.

Many people have taken social media by a storm. Someone’s becoming a dancing sensation on TikTok App and others are showing their culinary arts. Amidst all this the platforms are also replicating the love. One such being TikTok. TikTok videos encourage every Indian to stay strong and do their bit! Some of the trending videos on this amazing app are as follows:
People are reading news, making videos with their loved ones, learning new skills, showing their talent and creativity, honing their skills and adding feathers to their caps etc, all this by maintaining social distancing and hygiene that is- online! It seems all the world has come online and people are communicating through these mediums. Be it twitter with #shabashIndia campaign or when TikTok pats India’s back. People have accepted the lockdown and are doing their activities accordingly and have found ways of coping with this pandemic.
By the time we were all accepting this and getting bored of the quarantine period the government has now announced the unlock of lockdown. Soon markets would open and things would go back to normal. The slogan which all Bollywood celebrities were singing #Phir_Muskuraega_India would soon be true. People in this time have really shown what true warriors are! We salute every corona warrior. We must also ensure that we would continue with the good work we have been doing.
Social Media and the Internet shall be called our saviors during such difficult times. Many people showed us their creativity on TikTok online. People would attend classes on Zoom, Google meet etc. Every possible task which could be performed online was being done so that our economy gets whatever boost it can. No one came out to break the rules or to hamper the work of corona warriors (except a few lame people).
We have together performed our best during this period and shall continue to do so. We are now to follow the slogan of #GharBaithoIndia and view some of the amazing videos on TikTok teaching us on how to stay safe at home! Our safety is in our hands. We should all wear proper masks and maintain social distancing and community hygiene.
