The season 9 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has launched with a bang on the 30^th July, 2016. The show is aired on Colours on every Saturday night. Once again the show is hosted by the super flirtatious Manish Paul and like other seasons, he is back with new topics to crack jokes on.

There has been a noticeable change in the judges list and to our surprise we miss out Shahid Kapoor. It has been reported that the Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has replaced him in the show. She is accompanied by Karan Johar and the dance maestro Ganesh Hegde.

Coming to the contestants, there is an interesting list for the audience. The Nagin Actor Arjun Bijlani is teamed with choreographer Bhawna Khanduja. Gaurav Gera can be seen as dressed as female and is paired with Diwankar Nayal. Choreographer Bhavna Purohit has taken the responsibility of transforming Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi into a dancer. Our own Swara bahu aka Helly Shah is paired up with Jai Kumar Nair.

Karishma Tanna of Big Boss fame is seen opposite choreographer Ranjit Dev. The dancing sensation Nora Fatehi is teamed with Cornel Rodrigues. The two twin sisters Priyanka Shah and Poonam Shah are seen to dance together. Aishwarya Radhakrishnan has been paired opposite Salman Yusuff Khan and Shakti Arora is coupled with Suchitra Sawant.

Shantanu Maheshwari is seen dancing with choreographer Alisha Singh. Sidhant Gupta along with Pranalini Atul and bombshell Surveen Chawla along with Sanam Johar is seen dancing to the tunes of melodies recreating magic on the stage.

This year the audience voting has been eliminated. Evictions are based on the judgement of the judges and the score given by the present audience in the set. This year the season is loaded with new twists and turns, surprising you at every turn.
