White vinegar

Due to the acidic properties in white vinegar it helps to treat the swimmer’s ear. All you need to do is combine equal parts of white vinegar and alcohol in a bowl. Now use a dropper and insert this solution on your ears using a ear dropper. Just 5 to 10 drops is enough and wait 5 minutes in the same position with your heads tilted. Repeat doing this 2-3 times.

Hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is actually an antibacterial agent that helps to kill the bacteria prevailing in the ear and kill them effectively. You need to use 3 per cent of hydrogen peroxide and use a dropper to insert this in your ears. Remain in the same position for some time and see to it that the solution does not drain out of the ear. Use this twice a day.

Warm compresses

If you think you are suffering from warm compresses, you should follow the method of warm compresses. Soak a washcloth in hot water and wring out the excess water. Put the moist washcloth over the infected ear for 2 minutes, then tilt your head to promote fluid drainage. Take a break for 10 minutes and repeat the process as needed. Alternatively, put heating pad wrapped in a cloth and place it on your ears for some time. Do this after equal intervals and repeat doing this several times a day.

Garlic

Another good remedy that will help to fight against swimmer’s ear is using garlic. Due to antibacterial and antiseptic properties of garlic, it helps to fight against the pain in your ear. You need to crush some garlic and heat it in 2 tablespoon of olive oil. Now heat the oil until it turns brown. Now strain the oil and use a dropper to insert the oil on your ear. Apart from this, also need to consume 2-3 garlic cloves everyday to heal the problem.

Breast milk

Due to natural antibiotics, it is said that breast milk can help to treat swimmer’s ear. Lie down with your affected ear towards the upward side. Now insert few drops of breast milk in your ears and wait for some time. Make sure you wait for some time with your head tilt so that the milk does not drain out. Repeat doing this after few hours and on regular basis.
